The Burley Bark Ranger is a bicycle trailer designed for outdoor adventures with your furry friends. I led this project from the ground up, working on both hard goods and soft goods. For the soft goods, I selected high-quality, weather-resistant fabrics that offer comfort and durability, with plush padding and breathable mesh panels for enhanced ventilation. The interior is easy to clean, ensuring a fresh environment for every outing. Key features include easy entry points, numerous ventilation options, a secure harness system for pet safety and storage pockets for all of your pet accessories. Its user-friendly pop-up design allows for quick setup and compatibility with various bike models. This project highlights my ability to bridge the gap between hardgoods and soft goods, resulting in an inspiring product for all pet loving adventure seekers.

Riversmith Convoy Hauler - Fly Fishing Gear Tote
The Riversmith Convoy Hauler is part of Riversmith's new bag line designed for fly-fishing enthusiasts. I took on the development of both the Convoy Hauler and Convoy Gear Roll from concept to initial samples. By identifying key user needs—such as organization, accessibility, and durability—I crafted unique designs that facilitate quick packing and unpacking while effectively separating wet and dry gear. I selected robust, waterproof materials to ensure longevity in rugged environments and integrated features like easy-grip handles and versatile attachment points for convenient transport. User feedback was instrumental in refining the design, resulting in a practical and innovative solution that significantly enhances the fly-fishing experience.

Canyoneering Chest Pack
This chest pack was a personal project after finding existing options inadequate for my canyoneering needs. I aimed for a slim profile that could be worn comfortably over or under layers and an easy to reach side release buckle to remove the pack. I choose RX30 X-Pac for the body fabric as a durable and waterproof material made from recycled polyester. The main pocket offers easy access to phones, route info, and snacks and features a diagonal opening for ergonomics in tight spaces. Additionally, there's a slip pocket for small tools like knives and markers and a mount for a radio. The breathable mesh back panel includes a stash pocket for snack wrappers.

Burley Travoy - Bicycle Commuting Trailer
The Burley Travoy was a refreshed version of a previous model bike trailer. The softgoods portion of the project I was tasked with focused on seamlessly integrating fabric with the aluminum frame using piping for a more refined look from the previous riveted design. This process, while straightforward in theory, posed challenges related to fit, tolerance, assembly as well as structural integrity since the fabric would be used to support loads in the trailer. Collaborating closely with the manufacturing team, I addressed these issues through iterative prototyping of the piping channel profile with various fabrics and extensive testing of the assembly and structure. The final product is a streamlined, visually appealing Travoy that enhances user experience without compromising quality.

Burley Travoy Messenger - Messenger Bag
As part of the Burley Travoy bicycle trailer refresh, Burley introduced an innovative line of bags and accessories designed to seamlessly attach to the trailer. This collection featured a versatile messenger bag and backpack for commuting, two market bags perfect for grocery shopping, and a deployable rain cover. My team was responsible for bringing these bags from concept to production, defining key features and selecting high-quality materials. We collaborated closely with our manufacturing partner, going through multiple rounds of samples and providing constructive feedback to refine the designs for mass production. The final products turned out exceptionally well and made a fantastic addition to Burley's lineup.
